It was late on a Wednesday evening, but that didn't stop almost a hundred guests from
showing up to celebrate the launch of Young Writers' Toolkit, a writing reference
for young writers. Authors Michael C. Fine and Veronica Hoyle-Kent signed books and
chatted with teachers, parents, and students.
Mrs. Anna Goble, a 4th grade teacher at Nordstrom Elementary School, won a raffle for a
free StoryDeck Writing Workshop. Two students won "Young Writer" hats and one student won
a basket full of back-to-school goodies, including a copy of the book.
The event was hosted at the local bookstore, BookSmart. Champagne and cake were enjoyed by all.
