Per Se Press announced today that
Stowell Elementary School in Hannibal, Missouri
joined its One-for-One Free Book Program for
Schools. The school is the first in the state of Missouri to
join the program.
"Per Se Press is committed to helping teachers and schools support student
writers," says Mike Fine, co-founder of Per Se Press. "We are thrilled
to have Stowell Elementary School join our program, and to have a chance to
put these valuable books into classrooms at the school.
For every copy of Young Writers' Toolkit purchased by anyone associated
with the school, the school will get a free copy of the book. The school may use
these books in classrooms, or may distribute them to the families of
socioeconomically disadvantaged students. The books may be purchased by parents,
members of the community, teachers, or the school itself.
